ROTARY CLUB OF BANBURY 10TH ANNUAL SWIMATHON
Saturday 11 February at Bloxham School
The Rotary Club of Banbury Cherwell are organising a SWIMATHON and are inviting teams or individuals of all ages to enter on behalf of their chosen charity. Bloxham School have kindly agreed for the Rotary to hold this event at their swimming pool. 70% of proceeds raised will go to your nominated charity with 30% towards Rotary charitable causes. All proceeds from food ordered from the regular menu, drink and all the wages to staff on that particular day will be given to Katharine House Hospice. BANBURY 15 MILE AND FUN RUN
Sunday 18 March, Spiceball Leisure Centre
This year’s Banbury Run will take place on Sunday 18 March starting at Spiceball Leisure Centre. As well as the 15 mile run there will be the Paul Bithell Memorial 2 mile Charity Run (in aid of Katharine House Hospice) and a 1 mile Fun Run for under 14s. Our new Easter campaign of Easter Pets and People is going really well so if you have any ready made for us we would be very grateful if you could send them in as soon as possible. They can be sent to any of our charity shops, or direct to the Hospice, but please mark them clearly for Sarah Brennan in the Fundraising office. 6th MIDNIGHT WALK – SAVE THE DATE
Save the date! - Our 6th Midnight walk will be held on Saturday 23 June at The Willows, home of Banbury Cricket Club in Bodicote. Registration forms will be available in March. We also need volunteers to help out on the night and would also love to hear from any businesses willing to help sponsor this year’s Midnight Walk. Any amount would be gratefully received and means that more funds raised goes towards nursing care at the hospice. We already have lots of local businesses who offer their products or services free of charge. Your name and logo appears on our website and on all correspondence relating to the Midnight Walk.
