Directions to Katharine House Hospice
BY CAR
From Banbury and the north
If travelling from the north on the M40 exit at
junction 11. Follow the signs for the A4260 to Adderbury. On arriving in
Adderbury, turn left at the first set of traffic lights onto the B4100
signposted for Aynho and Bicester (and Katharine House Hospice). The hospice is
on the right after approximately ¼ mile.
From Oxford
Take the A4260 for Banbury through Kidlington
and Deddington. (This is much easier than using the M40). On arriving in
Adderbury, turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto the B4100
signposted for Aynho and Bicester (and Katharine House Hospice). The hospice is
on the right after approximately ¼ mile.
From Bicester/London
If travelling from the south on the M40 exit at
junction 10 and follow the signs for Northampton. Turn left at the first
roundabout onto the B4100 signposted for Adderbury. After approximately 6 miles,
having driven through the village of Aynho and past the Banbury Business Park,
Katharine House Hospice is on the left.
From Brackley
Take the A43 for Oxford and then after
approximately 5 miles turn right at a roundabout onto the B4100 signposted for
Adderbury. After approximately 6 miles, having driven through the village of
Aynho and past the Banbury Business Park, Katharine House Hospice is on the
left.
BY TRAIN
Katharine House Hospice is approximately 3
miles from Banbury station where taxis are generally available.
From London
Banbury station can be reached directly either
from Marylebone (Chiltern Line) or Paddington (Thames Line). The journey takes
approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
From the north
There are direct services to Banbury from
Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill which take about an hour.
