THE QUEEN'S GOLDEN JUBILEE AWARD

Many congratulations to all the volunteers on winning the Queen's Golden Jubilee Award for voluntary service by groups in the community.  This is also called the Unsung Heroes award.

The award was presented at the annual Garden Party by Hugo Brunner, the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire.

The work of the hospice would not be possible without the skills, support and generosity of its volunteers.  Each year we have the chance to say a public and special Thank you at our volunteers' party.  We have over 300 volunteers and many more supporters who fund raise for us.  Some of you, of course, do both!!  Without your help we simply could not provide the service we do.
